How to keep your Square and Deliveroo prices in sync — and the manual way to do it

Where each copy of your price actually lives

If you run Square as your till and Deliveroo as a delivery channel, the same flat white exists in at least two places: in Square (Dashboard → Items, or the Square POS app) and on Deliveroo, where your menu is managed in Menu Manager in Deliveroo Partner Hub — or mirrored automatically, if you've connected Square to Deliveroo through an official integration. The two copies don't talk to each other unless something actively connects them, which is why the price you changed in Square this morning is usually still yesterday's number on Deliveroo tonight.

The manual way to keep them in sync

  1. Change the price in Square first (Dashboard → Items → edit the item), so your till stays the source of truth.
  2. Go to Deliveroo Partner Hub, enter your login details and select Menu Manager in the sidebar.
  3. Click the matching item, update its price and click ‘Save’. Don't forget items with size or add-on prices, and any other menu (such as a scheduled lunch menu) that carries the same item.
  4. Click ‘Publish’ to set the menu live. Saved changes don't reach customers until you publish. Then check the listing in the Deliveroo app.
  5. If you run more than one site or a scheduled menu, publish to each site (three dots next to ‘Publish’) and check each menu.
  6. If you also sell on Uber Eats or Just Eat: log in there and do the same again, by hand.

Screen names are from Deliveroo’s own help pages (editing items in Menu Manager, publishing your menu), checked 22 October 2026. The full walkthrough, including login, the app and fixing a half-updated menu, is in Deliveroo Partner Hub: how to edit your menu and prices.

For a menu of 40 items with a handful of price changes, that's realistically 20–40 minutes of careful clicking — per price change, per platform, forever. The risk isn't the time; it's the item you miss, which then sells all week at a stale price.

Where the manual approach goes wrong

The faster way

SyncShelf (in testing) watches your Square item prices as the source of truth and pushes matched prices to Deliveroo automatically. When a platform price drifts from where it should be, it flags it instead of waiting for a customer to notice.
